A program set consisting of 5 ramps is put into operation by pressing the START button. Three parame- ters are necessary to set a ramp: ramp time, constant temperature and constant time. A programmable lead-tim allows the ramp program to be activated up to 99 hours in ad- vance. Three separate programs (temperature profiles) can be stored. The digital display con- stantly indicates the actual temperature and the time remaining before program comple- tion. At the rear of the unit is an earthing-pin socket for connecting the heater, a position- ing prop and a 2-pole main switch, at the front of the unit is a socket for a contact ther- mometers. A temperature selection limiter prevents the operator from selecting dangerous temperatures.
